Easter Gardens

Thank you to all of our families who sent Easter Gardens into school. Once again the standard is extremely high and the results are beautiful. The children have obviously thoroughly enjoyed taking part in creating such a beautiful symbolism of Easter.

After lots of deliberation and anonymous judging, the following children will be receiving prizes during tomorrow’s Collective Act of Worship:

Nursery

Third prize – Quinn

All of the children who took part and made a garden will also receive a small chocolate egg in addition to the prize winners.

The Durham County Junior Chess Championships are being held in
Shincliffe CE Primary School on Sunday 22nd April. Please see below for a

Santa Claus

Santa Claus came to the nursery Christmas party yesterday! We were all very excited to see him. He also came along to the school Christmas party on Monday.

School Closure 30/11/11

School will be closed on Wednesday 30th November due to planned strike action. Sunshine Club will remain open for children to attend their normal booked sessions. School will re-open on Thursday 1st December.
