Our Nursery & Sunshine Club is located in St Oswald’s School in Durham City. It provides high-quality childcare for children aged 2 to 11. We are open all year round with the exception of bank holidays and the school’s Christmas break. Our opening hours are 7.45am to 6pm.
It is our aim to provide excellent childcare that children love to attend and parents can rely on.
We have a stimulating and caring nursery for children from their second birthday as well as our Sunshine Club offering before and after-school provision for children attending St Oswald’s School. Sunshine Club also runs a school holiday club provision.

St Oswald’s Nursery Curriculum
We follow the Early Years Foundation Curriculum. Our experienced and skilled Early Years Educators plan a wide range of engaging activities in both the indoor and outdoor learning environments. We have a large, well-resourced outdoor area to which the children have access every day.
Our aim is to build upon children’s interests and events that are happening in the wider world as well as developing activities based on our nursery themes.
