Cllr R. Ormerod

I work as a researcher for a council in Yorkshire. I represent Elvet and Gilesgate on both Durham County Council and the City of Durham Parish Council. My children both attended St Oswald’s school.  I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. Dr M. Clarke

I am a Lecturer in Music at The Open University. I have served as a Foundation Governor at St Oswald’s since the summer of 2015. I am active in the local community as a church organist and piano teacher.  I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests including other Governor positions and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. There are no other conflicts of interest.

Rev. Peter Kashouris

I am a Governor at Shincliffe School and Durham High School for Girls as well as St Oswald’s School. Mr J. Knight

I am a consulting engineer with Ove Arup & Partners in Newcastle, having returned from working in Africa in 2015. I attended St. Oswald’s School as a child in the 1970’s and have strong family links with both the school and St. Oswald’s Church. My son now attends the school. I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests including other Governor positions and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. There are no other conflicts of interest.

Mr B. Westwood

I am a Foundation Governor and my children attended, or have attended, St. Oswald’s Primary and Nursery School. I am currently employed by the Portable Antiquities Scheme (British Museum) as the Finds Liaison Officer for Co. Durham, Darlington and Teesside, and previously worked as an archaeologist for Durham University Archaeological Services. As such I have a particular interest in the teaching of history and the humanities, and in my role as governor I am currently a member of the Curriculum and Standards Committee. I have been an active member of the Friends of St Oswald’s for many years, and formerly held the position of chair. I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests including other Governor positions and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. There are no other conflicts of interest.

Mr D. Tait (chair)

I work for the Church of England Education Office as Deputy Director of SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) and previously served as headteacher of a primary school in County Durham.  I am Deputy Director of SIAMS and have declared this interest.  I can confirm that I do not have any other relevant business interests including other Governor positions and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. There are no other conflicts of interest.

Dr C. Armstrong

I am an Advanced Technician for Archaeological Services Durham University, having first moved to Durham in 2001 to study at the university. I became a Parent Governor at St Oswald’s Primary and Nursery School in Autumn 2021 which both of my children also attend. I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives. There are no other conflicts of interest.

Dr J. Weeks

I am a veterinary surgeon with 42 years of clinical experience in Durham county and also the Cotswolds.I have worked in the agricultural, domestic , charity and equine industry.Also I have been involved with veterinary politics locally including the organisation of educational talks for our profession.I was a land based governor for East Durham college for eight years .I am still working very part time and am involved with mentoring younger veterinary surgeons.I can confirm that I do not have any relevant business interests including other governor positions and that I do not have relationships with members of school staff including spouses partners relatives.There are no other conflicts of interest.

I can confirm that I am also a Director of Sunshine Club and have declared this interest. I do not have any relevant business interests, although I am an LA governor for the Federation of Golden Flatts and Lynnfield Primary School, Hartlepool.  I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff at St Oswald’s including spouses, partners and relatives. I was previously the Deputy Headteacher at St Oswald’s School and I am a co-opted member of the Governing Body.  I am also the parent of a child at the school and the treasurer and a trustee for The Friends of St Oswald’s School as well as a Company Director of the Sunshine Club.  I work for the company that provides the school’s phonics programme.  I have declared the above interests.  I can confirm that I do not have any other relevant business interests including other Governor positions and that I do not have any relationships with members of the school staff including spouses, partners, relatives.
